Once you have made your choice we will explain what will happen during the buying process; how to make an offer, the signing of the “compromis de vente” and the different options to help you finance your property. Once the “compromis de vente” has been signed you have a seven day “cooling off” period followed by a two or three month timespan during which the Notaire will take care of all the necessary paperwork. We will stay in touch during this period to keep you updated with progress and answer any queries you may have. We can also assist in finding you the best artisans for any renovations needed, arrange buildings and contents insurance as necessary, advise on inheritance laws and local taxes. We can also contact the water and electricity authorities on your behalf.

On the day you sign the final papers – the “acte de vente” we can visit the property with you and accompany you to the Notaire. Naturally we will always be here to assist you after your move – our staff and offices are here to help!
